McCall, a beautiful resort town located in the north-central mountains of Idaho, boasts four distinct and vibrant seasons – each with their own associated activities.  Visitors and residents alike are tempted by the many events offered by McCall’s businesses and groups – there’s always something going on!  Following are several popular annual McCall events:

• McCall Winter Carnival is held the last weekend of January through the first weekend of February and offers activities for all ages. The spectacular fireworks during the opening ceremonies are very popular as is the Mardi Gras Parade, the dozens of snow sculptures scattered around town, the monster dog-pull and the many food and drink vendors to name a few.

• The Summer Music Festival, held four nights in the middle of July, is produced by The McCall Folklore Society.  The festival is in its third decade of brining great music and musicians to the area and is held on a new stage in the historic town of Roseberry just minutes from McCall.  The Brundage Mountain Music Festival is another popular event offering live music in a greasy, alpine amphitheater.

• A number of races are held throughout the year attracting all types of athletes to McCall such as the August McCall Mountain Triathlon, February Payette Lakes Ski Marathon and the September Payette Lake Run.
